HaitiDocs is a public research library covering Haiti — its reports, economic indicators, and maps, with the source identified for each item. It gathers material that is otherwise scattered across international organizations, Haitian institutions, and government ministries, and puts it in one place where it can actually be found and cited.
The document library holds reports from bodies such as the World Bank, the IMF, and the United Nations alongside publications from Haitian institutions, organized by sector and covering areas including the legal framework and public finances.
The economic and social data section tracks indicators over time — GDP, unemployment, exchange rates, and remittances among them — each series attributed to the institution that published it.
The interactive map layers cover conflict, poverty, and infrastructure, so questions about where something is happening can be answered geographically rather than in prose.
Material is available in English, French, and Haitian Creole. The library can also be connected to ChatGPT and Claude, which lets those tools answer questions about Haiti from the underlying sources and cite them.
